These guidelines describe the processes proven successful in the achievement of structural integrity in USAF air vehicles while the cost of ownership is minimized; and cost and schedule risks managed through a series of disciplined, time-phased tasks. This handbook is for guidance only. This handbook cannot be cited as a requirement. If it is, the contractor does not have to comply.</p>
