ARES Project Management LLC. has released 3.6 version of PRISM G2 is an Integrated Project Controls solution that enables organizations to manage all aspects of their project and programs throughout the project lifecycle.

With the latest release of PRISM G2, you can greatly improve productivity, more effectively control project performance and better leverage integration.

- INTEGRATION WITH PRIMAVERA P6 WEB SERVICES (API)
Schedule data can now be imported into PRISM using our new feature that connects clients directly to their Primavera P6 Web Services. Integrating cost and P6 schedule data into PRISM just became much easier! The Web Services option allows data to be transferred directly into PRISM without having to directly connect to the client’s P6 database. When selecting this option, rather than typing in the server and database, a URL address is entered.
- CHANGE MANAGEMENT
It’s a fact. Change is inevitable and managing those changes is vital. But manually administrating change orders and ensure proper sign-off can quickly become a full-time job. With the latest release of PRISM G2, we have added a new license in which Change Approvers are able to access the system for the sole purpose of reviewing and approving change data – expediting the change management process and keeping your team on track for on-time delivery.
- CONTINGENCY DRAW-DOWNS
If you are like most organizations, project contingencies are used early in the project. The project team can then become surprised when they have used 100% of their contingency while only 50% of the project is complete. With PRISM G2, project managers and project controls professionals can more effectively manage and report on contingency to ensure it is utilized for high risk activities. With more control over how contingency is managed, you can help your project stay on budget and protect profitability.
- SCHEDULE ACTIVITY TIME PHASED DATA CURVES
When multiple schedule activities are linked to a control account, all activities do not have the same spend plan, painting an inaccurate picture when progress is calculated against the plan. PRISM G2 3.6 now offers multiple curves to be assigned to each activity and the activities can be weighted to provide the most realistic time phasing, allowing more accurate reporting and creating transparency into your project.
