                   MIL-STD-2137A (NOTICE 2), MILITARY STANDARD: WEIGHT CONTROL  TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR SURFACE SHIPS (13 SEP 2005) [S/S BY ASTM-F1808, SAWE-RP12 AND SAWE-RP13]., MIL-STD-2137A (SH), dated 6 August 1993, is hereby canceled. Future acquisitions for this item mayrefer to:1. ASTM F1808, "Standard Guide for Weight Control Technical Requirements for Surface Ships", whichsupersedes portions of paragraphs 1 - 6 and the Appendix of MIL-STD-2137A (SH);2. SAWE-RP12, "Weight Control Technical Requirements for Surface Ships", which supersedes portionsof paragraphs 1, 4, and 5; significant parts of paragraphs 2, 3, and 6; and the Appendix of MIL-STD-2137A (SH); or3. SAWE-RP13, "Standard Coordinate System for Reporting Mass Properties of Surface Ships andSubmarines", which supersedes portions of paragraph 3 and the Appendix of MIL-STD-2137A (SH).
