In order toprovide a reliable and efficient system it is important that the harness installation is designed for reliability andmaintainability. This concept holds true for both copper based and fibre optic harnesses.The objective of this part of EN 4533 is to provide technical advice and assistance to designers and engineerson the incorporation of fibre optic harnesses into an airframe, while maintaining maximum compliance withcurrent aircraft electrical harness procedures.
