                   MIL-T-5578C (AMENDMENT 5), MILITARY SPECIFICATION: TANK, FUEL, AIRCRAFT, SELF-SEALING (26 JUL 1983) . This amendment forms a part of Military SpecificationMIL-T-5578C, dated 31 July 1963, and is approved for useby all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense. This specification covers self-sealing and partially self-sealing fuel tanks for use on aircraft. A tank shall consist of a cell or group of cells interconnected, and the components attached directly thereto, to form a complete tank or reservoir.T
