MIL-STD-2000, MILITARY STANDARD: STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR SOLDERED ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLIES (16 JAN 1989) ., This standard establishes general requirements for materials and procedures for making soldered electrical and electronic connections.Soldered connections for leads and wires inserted in holes, surface mounted tolands, or attached to terminals shall be in accordance with this standard. Inaddition, component mounting requirements and acceptance criteria are providedto permit evaluation of complete assemblies. The manufacture of discretedevices, microcircuits, multichip microcircuits, and film microcircuits isoutside the scope of this standard.
