MIL-S-24286 (NOTICE 1), MILITARY SPECIFICATION: STEEL ARMOR PLATE, WROUGHT, HIGH-HARDNESS (03 NOV 1983)., Specification MIL-S-24286(SHIPS), dated 2 February 1967, is hereby canceled. Future acquisition of replacement steel armor plate should be made under MIL-S-16216,Steel Plate, Alloy, Structural,High Yield Strength (HY-80 and HY-1OO).
