MIL-S-22698C (NOTICE 1), MILITARY SPECIFICATION: STEEL PLATE, SHAPES AND BARS, WELDABLE ORDINARY STRENGTH AND HIGHER STRENGTH: STRUCTURAL (08 SEP 1998)., MIL-S-22698C, Amendment 1 of 19 December 1988 is hereby canceled andreplaced with American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) Rules for Building and Classing Steel Vessels, Part 2, Section 1 with the supplementary requirements in Appendix 2/D. MIL-S-22698 and corresponding ABS grades are as shown herein.
