MIL-STD-1622, MILITARY STANDARD: CLEANING OF SHIPBOARD COMPRESSED AIR SYSTEMS (20 SEP 1973)., This standard provides the requirements for cleaning of shipboard compressed air systems, including the air compressors installed on nuclear and non-nuclear surface shipsand submarines which normally operate at pressures in excess of 250 pounds per square inch gage (psig) . This standard does not apply to reactor plant air systems.
